Private Yoga and Meditation Sessions

One-on-one private yoga and/or meditation sessions provide space to explore your unique needs. These sessions are great for individuals who are: new to yoga or meditation and want to build a safe foundation, looking to deepen their practice (postures, breathwork, spirituality, and more), or are wanting to address specific injuries or conditions. Sessions are typically 60-minutes to 90-minutes in length and can be held in your home or at a local studio.

**Please note, private yoga sessions are not skilled physical therapy. If you are seeking medical advice, please request a physical therapy evaluation.

Kate has experience leading: weekly yoga for corporate fitness, meditation and mindfulness in the workplace, yoga classes for large corporate events, and group yoga series including: beginner foundational series, ergonomic wellness series, and alignment-based series for advancing your practice. Group and corporate classes are typically held on-site; classes can also be held at a local studio.

Testimonials

"Kate is able to stay in the moment and encourages her students to do the same. She maintains the delicate balance of challenging her students - reminding them to push their boundaries - while simultaneously requesting them to honor their bodies and do what feels right and comfortable to them throughout class. In smaller classes we have 'yogi's choice' where we are free to practice any asana that is calling to us at that moment and if we are unsure of what to choose she provides us with suggestions. She is attuned to the needs of her students whether the class is large or small, and is available after class for any questions, comments, or concerns that her students may have." -- Sumeeya Chishty-Mujahid

"Kate's classes are usually the most packed for a good reason. She has a welcoming attitude, a great smile and a superb practice. Her approach to yoga combines the traditional foundational concepts of yoga (broken down masterfully) infused with modern rehab and physical therapy reasoning and modifications. Her classes start with a theme of the month depending on the season and mood. I've been practicing with Kate for about two years and she's by far one of the most spiritual instructors I've practiced with yet she somehow is able to maintain a strong grasp on reality. Her practice is truly relaxing and invigorating. You'll feel like you've opened up your body and mind after a short hour with Kate. Just be mindful of the addictive tendencies that develop after taking a few of her classes!" -- Kyle S.

"I have had the pleasure of practicing yoga in Kate's classes for over a year now. I think Kate is an asset to the yoga community because of her background in physical therapy and true passion for the practice. I feel like Kate's classes have a perfect balance and I always leave feeling rejuvenated. I appreciate that she incorporates variety into each class and offers several options to make your practice challenging or relaxing as you need. Kate is always available to answer questions and genuinely cares about what each individual is looking to get out of their practice. I highly recommend Kate's classes and guidance, whether you're new to yoga or a veteran." -- Jenn Wingerberg
